The visit of 2013

Apologies all for the lack of build up, and details, for this year's visit but, due to a packed timetable, I was unable to go this year. Thus it was left to Kenny to sort out the visit - much of which passed me by.
The Team this year consisted of some regulars (Kenny, Tony), some devoted hangers on (Andy & Jedda), some newbies (Alan Paul) and several Nan Ron virgins (Ros, Alex, Scott, Chris).
Rain was a minor irritation of this year with the on-island and off-island trips being accompanied by rain and, annoyingly, one night of activity completely lost to rain.

The bird of the visit (besides the Portugese control) was probably 2546825, a UK control that was 'assisted' from its burrow by the long arm of Ros.

Final figures:
846 new Stormies, 38 retraps (24 x 2013, 11 x 2012, 3 x 2011 and 1 x 2010), 13 UK controls and one Portugese. Eleven skuas were ringed, four as trapped adults.
And a picture from the island - in case you're missing it already.

The list has already started for next year.
